Bumbershoot 2013

Bumbershoot 2013 will take place August 31–September 2 at Seattle Center. Here are some things you should know. If you do not find an answer to your question, please contact us or visit an Information Booth at the Festival.

Bumbershoot opens at 11am daily
Box Offices & Will Call open at 10:30 am daily
Lineup is subject to change
Indoor venues have a limited capacity; entrance to these venues is not guaranteed
Bumbershoot and Seattle Center are ADA-accessible
The show must go on, rain or shine
Yes, you may bring your umbrella

Tickets are on sale now
Platinum and Gold passes offer exclusive benefits
Children 10 and under get in free with an accompanying adult
Prices will increase periodically leading up to the Festival; buy now to save big

These items will not be allowed into Bumbershoot:

Animals, except service animals
Glass bottles or aluminum cans
SLR cameras
Any recording devices with external microphones
Wagons or carts
Coolers larger than 14″ x 15″ x 10″
Backpacks larger than 17″ x 12″ x 10″
Laser pointers
Air horns or other noisemakers

Bumbershoot Mainstage
Mainstage shows no longer require a separate pass for entry
Platinum & Gold Pass holders receive special entry to and seating at the Mainstage
Bags may be subject to search before entering any Mainstage show
Skateboards are not allowed inside the Mainstage
Plastic bottles must be empty before entering the Mainstage
Lines for Mainstage show will form no earlier than 90 minutes before scheduled show times
Floor access is limited and the capacity is set for your safety

Comedy Shows
Comedy shows are hugely popular and have limited seating
A free Comedy Pass will guarantee you a seat at the show of your choice
You can pick up one Comedy Pass per day at the Comedy Pass Booth
You may enter the stand-by line for any show without need for a Comedy Pass, but you will not be guaranteed a seat
Platinum Pass holders need not obtain a Comedy Pass for shows in any venue
Gold Pass holders need not obtain a Comedy Pass for shows in the Bagley Wright Theatre
